Biblical Purpose
My purpose in life is to know God and make Him known.
My purpose is to be a follower of Christ, a husband to Malora, a father to Noah, a teacher to those around me, and a student of life and culture.
My purpose is to love my neighbor and my God, more than myself.
Vision
My personal vision is to equip youth and young adults to know God better and serve Him more effectively. I have a vision to equip the church to interact with a new generation of youth and young adults, and connect that generation to the church. I have a vision to reach out to youth and young adults to encourage a closer relationship with Jesus and other people.
Spiritual Gifts
Teaching. The supernatural ability to clearly and accurately communicate the truths of the Bible in such a way that people learn
Leadership. The supernatural ability to provide overall vision for the Body of Christ and provide direction of others in such a way that they willingly follow and work together
Exhortation. The supernatural ability to encourage, comfort, challenge, or rebuke others to action in such a way that they respond.
Pastoral. The supernatural ability to care for, feed, and protect the long term needs of individuals or a group in the Body of Christ.
Creative Communication. The supernatural ability to communicate the gospel through creative means.
Team Style
Let’s stay together. Team-oriented, tries to draw a group together and help it to stay together, focus on unity.
Leadership Function
Equipping Releaser. Invests in others and releases them to engage in their God given roles and ministries, helps others to develop their ministry identity, validates and encourages, prepares and mentors others to fulfill their calling in ministry, encourages others to use their spiritual gifts.
Vision Sharer. Involved in making a clear vision and direction for a group, communication the vision to the leadership team and church, enabling others to fulfill the vision, and drawing vision from different people and places to create a unified direction for a group.
